How pricing and payment work
Qchu is not a payment service. There is no money changing hands in the app, no commission and no wallet; the fee is agreed between the two people.
The app does not take payments
The sentence in the service detail is clear: the agreement and the payment are between the parties. Qchu does not sit between them, does not hold money and does not handle refunds.
What the price on a listing means
| Fixed fee | One price for the whole service. |
| Hourly | A price per hour. |
| Daily | A price per day. |
| No price | No price was given; it is agreed in conversation. |
The price is the listing owner's own statement. Qchu does not verify it.
Protecting yourself
- Settle the scope, the duration and the fee before the service starts.
- Keep the conversation in the in app chat. If you need to look back later, it is there.
- Be careful with anyone who asks for payment up front and wants to move the conversation out of the app straight away.
- If something feels wrong, report the listing and block the user if needed.
No in app purchases
There is nothing to buy in the app today. Membership tiers are closed as well; see Membership tiers.
