Deleting my account
You can delete your account permanently from inside the app. The action cannot be undone.
Steps
- Open Ayarlar from the profile drawer.
- Go into the Güvenlik (security) section.
- Use Hesabı kalıcı olarak sil (delete account permanently) and confirm with Hesabımı Kalıcı Sil.
The app says it plainly: this action cannot be undone. A deleted account and the records tied to it cannot be restored.
Before you delete
- If you have an open lost pet listing, close or update it first; once you are gone nobody is looking after it.
- If you want a copy of your data, use Ayarlar › Verilerimi İndir (download my data).
- If you only want a break, signing out is enough.
What happens afterwards
You cannot sign in with that account any more. Pins you added to the map are community records and their removal behaviour is separate from your account. For how personal data is handled, see the Turkish KVKK and Privacy pages.
If you cannot get into the app
If you cannot reach the app to delete your account, write to us from the Support page. Sending the request from your account's e-mail address speeds it up.
