Blocking a user

If someone is bothering you, you can block them. After that, messaging with that person is closed.

Blocking

1. Open the person's profile. You get there from a listing detail or from a chat.
2. Open the ⋯ menu at the top right.
3. Choose Engelle (block) and confirm.

In a pin chat the same thing is done with Kullanıcıyı engelle.

What happens after

Messaging with that person closes. If you try to open the conversation the app says Bu kişiyi engelledin · mesajlaşma kapalı (you blocked this person, messaging is closed). To write again you have to remove the block first.

Removing a block

The people you blocked are listed under Ayarlar › Engellenen Kullanıcılar (blocked users). You lift the block there.

Block or report?

Blocking works for you: it keeps that person away from you. If a rule was broken, report as well; a report goes to the team and has consequences for everyone. You can do both.
